Who calls you when [Stuff] hits the fan (SHTF)?
Who do you call?
Chaos can strike at any moment. Problems arise without warning, and solutions often need to be clarified.
Someone who can step in and bring order is invaluable.
This person is the go-to when stuff hits the fan – the one everyone trusts to lead through the storm.
Who do you call?
Years ago, I was called mid-way through a significant conversion to solve an issue no one else could figure out.
The problem wasn’t apparent, and the path to a solution was even less so.
I wasn’t asked to complete a specific task. It was to bring my expertise and leadership to the table, instilling a sense of trust and assurance into the effort.
The ask was to figure it out.
Embedded in the ask were three requests:
1.) Help pinpoint the problem.
2.) Define the ideal outcome.
3.) Guide the team to get to the promised land.
This experience highlighted the trust placed in me and my ability to navigate uncertainty.
